The purpose of this course is to introduce students to models and steps involved in implementing Enterprise Learning Management System. Students will learn the foundations of Enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) and select appropriate methodology and tools, and then apply steps design and develop the delivery of online, face to face and blended courses in an academic setting and in the world of business. Students will also use systematic process to develop learning resources and suitable delivery mechanisms using LMS software. |
This
course will explore the role of empiricism in computing field research,
and will prepare students for advanced research by examining how to
plan, conduct and prepare report on empirical investigations. The course
will cover techniques applicable to each of the steps of a research
project, including formulating research questions, theory building, data
analysis (using both qualitative and quantitative methods), building
evidence, assessing validity, and publishing
Research Methods
This course deals with the nature research philosophies, research paradigms and purpose of educational research in educational technology and innovation, problem identification towards instructional design, reviewing relevant literature pertaining application of technology to education related problem, identify basic components of research writing schemes, develop research proposal related to educational technology aspect ,sampling and sampling techniques, methods of data collection tools, analysis and interpretation. It also discusses quantitative, qualitative and mixed approaches with special focus on Educational Technology and innovation context. The course emphasis is on writing an analysis and synthesis of research methodology and findings in empirical articles. The quantitative and qualitative data shall be analyzed using statistical tools such SPSS, STATA and MAXQDA which involve practical computer laboratory in separate session.
